Crockery with character…

Harriet’s Table is the result of ten years spent passionately sourcing and carefully curating the finest vintage china from the length and breadth of the British Isles. This is crockery with character – much of it will have formed part of a wedding dinner service many decades ago. I love that with Harriet’s Table I’m able to add new chapters to the stories of these gorgeous pieces, and give them another lease of life.

The business was born out of sourcing vintage tableware for my own wedding… and it just kept going! There’s a real thrill to spotting a perfectly patterned plate or shining silver spoon at an antiques fair, and envisioning how it will fit into the collection. I love nothing more than hearing about a couple’s vision for their wedding, and creating a custom suite of perfectly mismatched vintage pieces that will suit the style of their day. Hiring pre-loved pieces for your wedding or event is the most sustainable option to consider when sourcing your tableware.

So…who’s Harriet?

Harriet is a name I’ve always been drawn to. She’s a practical dreamer who dares to be different. She wants the sun on her face and a life filled with colour, and she’s looking for a wedding that’s anything but ordinary. I have a hunch that she’s a little bit like you.

If you’re planning a laid-back wedding with a touch of that bohemian spirit, get in touch and let’s have a chat. I’d love to introduce you to the collection.

A few kind words from recent events…

“Thank you so much for providing the tableware, it was absolutely outstanding and really exceeded our expectations and also our friends and families!”  HAYLEY & CHRIS – MORDEN HALL, SURREY

“We had a selection of crystal glasses, water jugs, cutlery and crockery provided by Harriet’s Table for our wedding in February. The items were lovely and really made a difference to our tables. We really liked having the Champagne saucers for our toast, these were a great touch and it was nice to have something  a bit different! Ellen was great to work with, so friendly and responsive and worked closely with our caterers so that the whole event ran smoothly.” HANNAH WHITE – EAST COURT, EAST GRINSTEAD

“Harriet’s Table items really made the setting of our wedding day unique. Given we were having sharing plates we couldn’t have a lot of decoration on the tables. Harriet’s Table vintage crockery and cutlery decorated the table elegantly and beautifully, so it didn’t matter that there wasn’t much else in the way of decoration. We had so many guests comment on how lovely the vintage plates were and how the look was beautiful.” SARA PICAZO – PILGRIMS REST, BATTLE
